July 13th, Modoc Gardens’ Handmade Festival:

Outdoor event at Modoc Gardens, a 20acre family farm that has U-Pick Flowers, Petting Farm, Picnic Area, & Play Area.
One of the 10 special events open to the public held at Modoc Gardens June - October.
This event is FREE admission to the public; all other special events are $10 admission.
Food and Beer & Wine will be available for purchase from onsite food truck. Outside food and nonalcoholic beverages permitted.

Vendor Sign Up Application

(Sign up now; spots are first come first serve)

Vendors may choose a 10x10 spot inside the 40x80 party tent or an outdoor 10x10 spot among the farm activities. Inside party tent spots will be first come first serve by date of application; we have a total of 14 available.

Modoc Gardens will respond to all vendor applications the following Tuesday of receiving application form.

85% of booth’s product must be handmade or locally grown.

Fee of $25 will be invoiced to vendors participating in the Handmade Festival; fee will be utilized for marketing event.

I understand and will abide by the following as a vendor:

*85% products must be handmade or locally grown *Vendors are responsible for marking prices, collecting & recording payment and taxes as required for their goods *Vendors are responsible for keeping their booth area clean, visually appealing, and safe for all guests *Vendors may hold a drawing at their booth to encourage gathering contact information from event participants (information collect should be used for vendors' businesses only and may not be sold or shared publicly) * Set up is between 8:30am-10:45am day of event, and vehicles must be moved to parking lot/area by 10:45am * Vendors must be present and have booth open 11:00am-5pm on Saturday 7/13/24 (Modoc Gardens is open till 7pm and you are welcome to stay open till closing) *Take down and vehicles may be in booth areas between 5:00pm-8:00pm. *Vehicles must stay on designated driving trails *Vendors will get assigned a 10x10 space inside large party tent or outside on grass in Modoc Gardens' picnic and u-pick areas unless previously discussed *Vendors to provide their own tent (if outside), chairs, tables needed for their set up *Electricity is NOT available at venue *Portable toilets are available at venue * Food truck will be available for food and drink purchases; outside food and nonalcoholic beverages are permitted * Vendors will adhere to all Modoc Gardens rules including: no pets (including no pets left in vehicle), no smoking (you may smoke in designated area in the parking lot or in your vehicle), use of family friendly language and apparel, glass is not permitted in Modoc Gardens unless it is part of your product you are selling that has been accepted * Vendors who do not follow the guidelines will not be permitted back in future years for this event. * Vendor takes full responsibility for all persons working/volunteering their booth and their property and will not hold Josh & Mindy Ellis dba Modoc Gardens and representatives liable for any personal or property harm, loss, or damage. *Vendors who have a social media page are encouraged to promote this event by sharing the Modoc Gardens' event postings *Once vendor has paid the $25 invoice, vendor will be on the confirmed list and will be included in marketing by Modoc Gardens * Inclement weather: the event will continue with chances of light rain; if thunderstorms/lightening are imminent organizer will contact vendors by phone number listed to cancel or post pone event (if event is completely cancelled by Modoc Gardens vendors will be reimbursed the $25 registration fee)
